As the saying goes, "If you don't like Chicago's weather, just wait 30 minutes!". Weather on the lake can be (and usually is) vastly different than inland, so we rely on a variety of tools that are specifically designed to predict marine weather and give us a more accurate picture of conditions on the lake. Weather cancellations will always be up to the Captain's discretion and you will be notified at least 2-hours prior if there is a cancelation.

 

• If you don't hear from us, lessons and cruises will be held as scheduled. (CHECK YOUR SCHEDULE ONLINE for up-to-date info.)

• In the event of a weather cancellation made by the Captain, we will call, text, or email you at least two hours before you are scheduled to sail.

• If there is a weather cancellation made by the Captain, it will not count against you and you will be able to reschedule your sailing. Cruising Credits will be issued for any special event cruise.

• Club Sails and Lessons: Cancellations made by you with less than 48 hours' notice or no-shows will result in loss of sail time and a $50 rescheduling fee. Private Cruises will forfeit their sail.
