Cancellation/ Rescheduling Policies

Rescheduling Policy:

Pay Per Sail, Club Membership Sails, Bareboating or Private Cruise

  • Rescheduling done by you with at least 48 hours' notice incur no penalty and may be rescheduled with no additional fees.

  • CLUB MEMBERS and NON-CLUB MEMBERS DO THEIR OWN SCHEDULING ONLINE INCLUDING CANCELLATIONS. SEE YOUR SCHEDULE. Rescheduling done by you with less than 48 hours' notice or no-shows will result in loss of sail time or a $50 rescheduling fee. Private Cruises will forfeit their sail.

  • Cancellations made by 3rd Coast Cruising incur no penalty and may be rescheduled with no additional fees. (See Weather Policy)

  • Behavior that is detrimental to the safety and well-being of the vessel, crew or individual, e.g., excessive alcohol consumption, will not be tolerated and may result in a non-refundable, non-credited, early departure from the vessel.

  • Sails may be canceled if there isn't enough demand (only 3 sailors) or if air temperature drops below 45 degrees.  

Club Membership

Cancellation Policy and Fine Print:

  • Permanent cancellation or downgrading of any Pay Per Sail or Club Membership package will result in a $100 cancellation charge + any sails used will be at a cost of $150 per sail regardless of original purchase price. Canceling will result in the total amount of the used sails * $150 + $100 cancellation fee which will be deducted from the amount returned.

  • Club Membership packages cannot be cancelled or downgraded once the season starts. If you downgrade, it will be treated as a Club Membership Cancellation (see above.) There are no roll-overs or banking for Club Membership Plus Packages, this is a "Use it or lose it" policy. If your sail was canceled due to weather, you may reschedule for that week only. ALL Club Memberships, unless otherwise stated, are only good for the season you signed up for.

  • Bareboating for Club Members: Please read your bareboat agreement carefully. 48 hr. cancellation policy enforced. Permanent Cancellation or downgrading a Membership with Bareboat hours used will result in cancellation charges listed above plus any bareboat hours used will be charged at $100/hr. 

  • All Club Members scheduling is based on availability. Scheduled Sails may be added or subtracted, we will do our best to make sure you get out sailing for the day you are scheduled.

Corporate/Group Event, Private & Special Event Cruises:

 

  • 50% deposit to hold date and boat(s), remainder due 45 days prior to event.

  • Rescheduling requests made with at least 2 weeks' notice can be re-booked with a $100 rescheduling fee per boat. (Corporate & Special Event)

  • Cancellations with at least 2 weeks' notice will result in 50% of total charge being retained and 50% refunded.

  • Cancellations made with less than 2 weeks' notice will not be eligible for refund.

  • Cancellations made by 3rd Coast Cruising incur no penalty and may be rescheduled with no additional fees. (See Weather Policy)

  • Cruising Credits will be issued if there is inclement weather.

  • Behavior that is detrimental to the safety and well-being of the vessel, crew or individual, e.g., excessive alcohol consumption, will not be tolerated and may result in a non-refundable, non-credited, early departure from the vessel.

  • If your cruise was scheduled during an event (e.g., America's Cup or Air & Water Show), please keep in mind that you paid for a cruise. We cannot control factors outside of our company. If the event is canceled but we are still able to safely sail or motor-sail, credits or refunds will not be issued.
